New recipes and more coming this week

My family has been attending a new church for a few months. I’m not sure if it is the congregation or just that we have hit the point in GAPS where I feel very comfortable with it but I am wanting to make food to share at the pot luck meals. In the past I would just prepare food for my family and we would sit in a corner and eat it and be safe and a bit distant. Now our food goes right on the table and we just make sure we are first in line and take big helpings the first time since we don’t know if there will be anything we can eat left for a second run.

I’m also enjoying figuring out new recipes to share with our friends and my family and I do love the normalcy of getting to see my kids sitting and eating with their friends. I also like seeing their friends eating the stuff we made (and I suspect they do too, GAPS can be isolating at times). One little girl came over to tell me how good my pie was today. That made my heart smile. I have always loved cooking and entertaining through food and my families allergies and GAPS (not to mention the LOD) has really put a strain on my ability to do that over the past few years.
So I’ve got those recipes coming this week. Right now I just wanted to share a couple of photos and get you excited about them. I’ve also got a GAPS basics post coming about culturing diary products. If you missed my first installment on how to make bone broth you can read it here.
White chocolate pie with a coconut crust.
So quick and easy I’m sure I will be making this one again.
Yummy Cheeseburger Soup
My eldest hates soup and after her first bite today she distinctly said “Yum!”
I was thrilled.

These both look delicious. The Yummy Cheeseburger Soup looks like potato soup. The White Chocolate Pie sounds decadent! Can't wait to see the recipes so I can try them.
